Nic Amini Sam, M.Eng.

Nic Amini Sam, M.Eng. (Mechanical), was the founder and president of the Jamshid Foundation. A devoted scholar of Persian history and culture, he dedicated his life to preserving and sharing the ancient heritage of Iran — the stories of the Shahnameh and the history of the Medes, Achaemenids, Parthians, and Sasanians.

Over a lifetime of loving and careful work, he produced five pictorial books of more than 1,250 pages and over 500 illustrations, fourteen DVDs and CDs, hundreds of historical posters, and the vision for the Statue of Cyrus the Great. Every image in this archive is his own design — a lifelong offering to the memory of a civilization he loved.
